The Zakynthos island or Zante, who prefers, as personally I prefer the first name, it is more Greek, has a lot of town worth watching. Among others last I spent my holidays with the family in the Kalamaki town. It is situated on the Laganas bay about which I wrote in the previous note.
Amongst numerous Kalamaki Zakynthos virtues one should among others remember about the fact that there a very beautiful, sandy beach is. There is always warm water there, with even a winter, as well as the wide shallows along the shore. There is this simply perfect space for families where to swim parents can, and on the shallows of children.
In Kalamaki Zakynthos is deserving the special attention small apart-hotel named Calidonio which is being led by the Greek family. There a clean swimming pool is always situated, regularly rooms are being cleaned and small snack bar has the good and interesting assortment. Presented features are main advantages of that small hotel.
Very Kalamaki Zakynthos is unusually quiet, put little town about six kilometres from the capital city of the island, as well as three kilometres from the airport. There is a plenty of taverns and minimarkets there. Also rental companies of scooters and cars are appearing. It is worthwhile going into this place even if for one day so that survive and can admire local beaches, hotels, restaurants and the like it is possible also boldly to use the aqueous equipment for really small money and experiences will be unforgettable.
